On the shores of Lake Diana
Nemi (RM)
At the Museum of Roman Ships in Nemi, the cultural review On the Shores of Lake Diana, curated by Museum Director Daniela De Angelis, is back.
A rich calendar of events, workshops, meetings, lectures and special openings.
In collaboration with Legio XXX Ulpia Victrix, the Museum is organizing a series of tables and educational workshops dedicated to the technology, art and customs in use in ancient Rome.
Each appointment will cover a specific theme: metallurgy, military strategy, weaving, numismatics, ceramics, surgery, navigation and Roman cuisine.
It kicks off on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 with the first workshops for children and youth ages 8 to 13. The workshops, devoted to metallurgy, with an in-depth look at embossing techniques, will be held March 2 at 3:30 p.m. and March 3 at 11 a.m.
The workshops, lasting about two hours, have no additional cost and are included in the Museum admission fee.
