Arpino (FR)
On Feb. 10 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cossa Auditorium in Arpino, the series of events dedicated to Grand Tour travelers in the Arpino area continues.
The speaker at the conference will be Paolo Accettola, author of the volume Artists and Travelers of the 18th - 19th Century in Casamari and at San Domenico di Sora. The scholar will address the theme of Cicero's places in the works of Grand Tour artists, particularly foreigners, who visited these areas between the 18th and 19th centuries. Through the examination of numerous paintings and prints, Paolo Accettola will accompany us to discover the sites traditionally linked to the figure of the famous orator to whom Arpino gave birth.
Admission to the conference is free, subject to availability.
