Vulci 50: The Museum in its 50-year history at Abbadia Castle told in three weekends

To mark the 50th anniversary of its founding, the Lazio National Museums Regional Directorate and the Vulci Archaeological Museum and Abbadia Castle are organizing a series of celebratory events on the weekends ofOct. 11-12, 18-19 and 25-26, 2025.
The initiative, entitled. VULCI 50: the Museum in its fifty years of history at the Abbadia Castle told in three weekends, offers a rich program of cultural activities, educational workshops, guided tours and special openings, designed to engage a public of all ages, enhancing one of the most fascinating archaeological and landscape sites in Tuscia.

October 11 and 12 - First weekend

Etruscan challenge: dice and pawns!
Playful-educational activity inspired by the games of antiquity, open to all ages
October 18 and 19 - Second weekend

Opening of the exhibition "The Importance of Being Beautiful"

Extraordinary visit to the tower of the Abbey Castle
October 25 and 26 - Third weekend

Opening of the archaeological repository at the Guest House

Presentation of the project Tyrrhenica: "Goods and Merchants in the Tyrrhenian Sea of the Etruscans."
All activities are included in the museum entrance fee.
