The "First" Vulci

On the occasion of the 2nd International Meeting dedicated to field research in the great Etruscan metropolis of Vulci to be held on May 18 and 19 at the Vulci Park, the exhibition "The First Vulci. At the Origin of the Great Etruscan City" dedicated to the formative stages of the Etruscan city with the presentation of new burial contexts unearthed in recent excavations.

The exhibition is the result of a close collaboration between the Lazio Regional Museums Directorate, the Soprintendenza Archeologi, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the province of Viterbo and for Southern Etruria, and the Vulci Foundation, which have been committed to the enhancement and knowledge of the area for years.

The exhibition is curated by Sara De Angelis (Lazio Regional Museums Directorate), Simona Carosi (SABAP for the province of Viterbo and Southern Etruria) and Carlo Casi (Vulci Foundation).
