On Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 9:15 p.m. appointment at the Roman Theater of the Archaeological Park of Minturnae (LT) for the opening of the "Evenings in Minturnae 2025" festival, with the inaugural concert "Italian Soundtracks in the World" by Maestro Umberto Scipione.
The series "Evenings in Minturnae 2025" offers a series of events dedicated to music, theater and dance, hosted in the unique setting of the Roman Theater of the Archaeological Park of Minturnae, where word, sound and movement dialogue with history and space.
The opening concert, "Italian Soundtracks in the World," is an exciting journey through the most celebrated soundtracks of Italian cinema, with original music and pieces by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Luis Bacalov, Stelvio Cipriani and Nicola Piovani, directed and performed by Maestro Umberto Scipione.
Alternating between piano and clarinet, Scipione will lead an orchestral ensemble with featured solo voices and dancers in an immersive performance enhanced by projections and light effects. A musical and visual tale that will reveal to the audience the creative universe of the soundtrack.
The evening will be held in memory of Senator Mario Costa, promoter of the reopening of the Roman Theater of Minturnae in 1960.
All events of the festival are free admission, but reservations are recommended.
