The itineraries of the Museumgrandtour 2025

Returning for the third consecutive year is The Museumgrandtour itineraries, a rich calendar of free events dedicated to getting to know the Museums and the vast cultural heritage of the Castelli Romani, the Prenestini Mountains and the Upper Sacco Valley, in a journey through the histories and identities of the territories.

Starting May 10, for four weekends the Museumgrandtour - the most extensive Territorial Museum System of the Lazio Region, - renews its invitation to all history, art, archaeology and nature enthusiasts eager to experience new thematic routes, in places that are often known, but not always fully known.

Resuming the particularly popular formula of previous editions, itineraries have been designed for each event that will be developed over the course of an entire day, with free admission to the facilities involved and the organization, at set times, of guided tours and special events in the Museums, historic centers and some sites exceptionally open for the occasion. During the event, a free shuttle service will also be available to facilitate travel and guided tours between the museums, archaeological sites and historic centers involved in the routes.

The spring edition of the event will kick off on Saturday, May 10, with the itinerary "Stories of Goddesses: tales from the temple and the forest," a journey between Nemi and Lanuvio, discovering the cult of Diana Nemorense and Juno Sospita. Here is the day's program:
