Dantedì
Sperlonga (LT)
March 25 is Dantedì, the national day dedicated to Dante Alighieri.
The date is what scholars recognize as the beginning of the Divine Comedy's journey into the afterlife, and it is an occasion to remember Dante's genius throughout Italy and the world.
The National Archaeological Museum of Sperlonga is participating in the event by organizing a "Quote Hunt."
There are numerous Dantean references to the events narrated by Sperlongan sculptural groups.
Let's have fun tracking them all down among the museum rooms and the archaeological area (closing at 5 p.m.).
For the children who succeed in the task, a free gift in memory of the museum visit.
You will find the rules of the game directly at the entrance.
