From June 3, 2025: introduction of the entrance fee for the Charterhouse of Trisulti

Collepardo (Frosinone) - Starting June 3, 2025, to visit the Certosa di Trisulti, one of the most evocative religious monumental complex in Lazio in the hands of the Ministry of Culture - Regional Directorate National Museums Lazio, there will be an entrance fee.

The introduction of the ticket was approved by the Lazio National Museums Regional Directorate by Decree No. 29 of March 7, 2025, after receiving clearance from the General Directorate of Museums. It is part of the strategies for the protection, enhancement and enjoyment of national cultural places promoted by the Ministry of Culture.

The decision to introduce an entrance fee is based on the need to have the historic-artistic value of the complex recognized and to ensure the preservation and maintenance of the monumental complex, thus finding additional resources for the three-year program of protection and restoration interventions of national cultural places, financed by the Ministry of Culture. This measure is in line with the priority objectives identified in the Minister of Culture's Policy Act for 2025-2027 (Ministerial Decree January 21, 2025), which provides for, among other things, the economic valorization of cultural heritage and the promotion of cultural development.

The cost of the ordinary will be set at 5 euros, with a reduction to 2 euros for EU citizens between the ages of 18 and 25, as stipulated in the current ministerial regulations for state museums and places of culture (Ministerial Decree No. 507 of December 11, 1997). In addition, an annual subscription will be available at the price of 10 euros, which will allow unlimited access for 365 days from the date of purchase so as to facilitate continuous attendance of the site by all interested parties.

They remain guaranteed free admissions for the categories of visitors stipulated by current regulations, including access for events that will be organized in the spaces of the monumental complex and to participate in religious celebrations in the adjoining Church of St. Bartholomew (starting 15 minutes before the start of the activities).

Visitors will also have the opportunity to participate in free guided tours to the Charterhouse (included in the entrance fee), scheduled for Saturday, on Sunday and holidays. Visiting hours will vary between summer and winter: from October 16 to April 14, tours will be held at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.; from April 15 to October 15, the times will be 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. The guided tours are organized in collaboration with LAZIOcrea s.p.a., as part of a specific enhancement agreement in place between the Lazio National Museums Regional Directorate and the Lazio Region., thanks to which, due to the staff made available, the fruition of the Charterhouse is possible every day of the year.

To enable the purchase of tickets on the spot, a totem has been installed at the entrance of the monument complex that will allow visitors to buy tickets with payment by both cash and credit cards. Ticket purchase will also be available via the App (Android / IOS) and the Musei Italiani platform (www.museiitaliani.it/acquista-biglietto) through which it will be possible to make advance purchase online, as well as check up-to-date information on the opening hours of the monumental complex.
