The Body and the Idea is the title of this exhibition dedicated to Filippo Balbi's Anatomical Head, a newly restored original work.
Two words that express the essence of an unusual work, capable of revealing the absolute fascination of the human figure.

Technological innovation: through an immersive virtual reality experience, visitors will be able to relate to the Anatomical Head through an immersive virtual reality experience.

Exhibition route enriched by the presence of a three-dimensional tactile reproduction of the work (on a scale of 2:1) to ensure the enjoyment of the image even for visually impaired or blind visitors.

The Anatomical Head is Filippo Balbi's most famous work, capable of arousing interest and wonder almost one hundred and seventy years later, to this day one of the most unique documents of our artistic heritage.

To 'imagination the author combines a strict analytical method based on formal logic, inventive skills and an uncommon technical expertise.

Eccentric and enigmatic painting. The exhibition aims to present the final outcome of a long and painstaking work, through the investigation of the work and the elaboration of documentary sources, an indispensable basis for the restoration of the Anatomical Head.
