European Archaeology Days at the Museum of Roman Ships in Nemi - Sunday, May 16, 2024

On the occasion of the European Archaeology Days 2024, the Museum of Roman Ships in Nemi invites to a new double event of the cultural review "On the shores of Lake Diana," curated by Museum Director Daniela De Angelis.
Sunday, June 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. "Games in Ancient Rome from Childhood to Adulthood," educational table by Legio XXX Vlpia Victrix Aps
Workshop
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. "The Restorer's Craft" by the ChissàDove Association.
Like real archaeologists, participants will recover copies of fragments of ancient vases from the earth and proceed to remove soil deposits and encrustations from the surfaces, learning different cleaning techniques. Finally, they will look for connections between the various fragments until they reconstruct the found vessels.
The workshop is suitable for children 6 years of age and older, has no additional cost and is included in the Museum entrance fee.
