INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "AROUND LAKE NEMI: JAMES FRAZER AND OTHERS"
On the centenary of the first Italian translation of The Golden Bough (1925), the National Museums Lazio Regional Directorate and the Museum of Roman Ships in Nemi are hosting an interdisciplinary conference dedicated to James G. Frazer and the cultural, historical and symbolic richness of Lake Nemi.
Two days of talks, dialogues and visits among anthropology, history of religions, archaeology, art and literature.
