Inclusion Day at Villa Lante:
multimedia video guide presentation and guided tour translated into Italian Sign Language
Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. The formal gardens and beautiful fountains will be explained in the Italian Sign Language.
A project carried out thanks to the contribution of the Archaeological Groups of Italy and the Piansano Archaeological Group and coordinated by Lara Anniboletti official in charge of the monument and Aura Colelli art historian of the Villa staff together with Mauro Santacroce interpreter A.N.I. LIS.
The event will begin with greetings from Giorgina Drinoczi, president of the A.U.S.R.U. ( United Associations of the Deaf of the Region of Umbria ) followed by the presentation of the LIS video guide on the general history of Villa Lante. All participants will be offered a guided tour by staff translated in real time by a LIS interpreter. An opportunity for experimentation and reflection on the theme of 'inclusiveness, a goal to which it is necessary to aspire in order to offer increasingly comprehensive and accessible cultural services.
