Art Bonus: one patron, three restorations for Lazio's cultural heritage
One patron, three projects, one common goal: to strengthen the protection and enhancement of the region's cultural heritage. Thanks to donations made through Art Bonus by the National Communications Foundation, the Lazio Regional Directorate of National Museums is launching three fully funded conservation projects.
Art Bonus continues to be a fundamental tool for active and transparent participation: it allows citizens, businesses, and foundations to actively support public heritage through traceable donations that can be viewed online, ensuring maximum clarity on costs, progress, and use of resources.
The three interventions concern:
Casamari Abbey
Restoration of the painting"Allegory" (€17,000);
National Archaeological Museum of Civitavecchia
Conservation of the statue of Athena Parthenos (€15,000);
G. Carettoni National Archaeological Museum in Cassino
Restoration and enhancement of the bone funeral bed from the Aquinum necropolis (€17,000).
The funds, which have been fully acquired, will enable the projects to enter the operational start-up phase soon. Progress will be published online on the Art Bonus portal to ensure full traceability of the process.
The initiative demonstrates the importance of collaboration between institutions and private patronage in supporting projects throughout the region, confirming that heritage protection is a shared responsibility and a concrete investment for communities and future generations.
